PRACTISE ACADEMIC SKILLS
 THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)

Our curriculum does more than just cover the fundamental literacy skills of reading, writing and mathematics. We harness the power of AI to personalise learning and enhance creativity.

A Collaborative Story by Pre-schooers and AI
THE LION AND THE PENGUIN

ENGLISH LANGUAGE & LITERACY

Our English Language and Literacy curriculum goes beyond teaching children how to read and write. In addition to our structured Phonics & Reading Programme, our Literature Alive programme exposes children to the wonderful works of famous authors and poets in the literary world.

Children will have many opportunities to enjoy books, build vocabulary, articulate their thoughts in front of an audience, and practice creative writing. We also introduce AI applications such as generative AI for children to collaborate with their peers to create innovative compositions and literacy projects that enhance learning. These 21st century skills build up children’s confidence and enable them to be lifelong readers, writers and communicators.

CHINESE LANGUAGE & LITERACY

(Japanese is also available at Cambridge @ Robertson.)

A strong Chinese language foundation is important for children to be bilingual. Our Chinese language and literacy curriculum develops children’s Chinese language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and includes a Chinese Reading Programme that has a structured and systematic approach to accelerate children’s reading ability. Children will also cultivate an appreciation of Chinese culture through activities in our Chinese Cultural Appreciation Programme and be prepared for Primary 1 through our Hanyu Pinyin Programme.

We personalise children’s education using an AI-enabled tool to assess abilities and needs as well as track progress. Naturally, children will learn best when they are more engaged and motivated to learn.

MATHEMATICS

(Numeracy)

Our Mathematics curriculum focuses on basic skills and reasoning with many creative opportunities for children to grasp important concepts. Our main objective revolves around fostering a strong foundation in concepts and skills, developing mathematical language and communication, and nurturing a positive attitude.

Children learn counting, measuring, comparing using number and word symbols, identifying and creating patterns, learning mathematical language, understanding money, and telling time. Hands-on experiences incorporate a variety of manipulatives, games and activities that makes mathematics enjoyable and interactive and enables children to explore mathematical concepts in a meaningful way.

Very strong chinese curriculum embedding AI in their learning. The school prepares them well for pri sch with weekly 听写 and spelling in k2. Not just an academic school, there are also many exposures to play, family bonding activities and even robotics competitions etc. All the teachers and principal Val we come across are very responsive, patient, mindful and of high standard. My daughter loves going to school and her friends so much. Our graduating k2 cohort of kids turns out to be all brave, confident, outspoken and kind individuals, best decision we have ever made sending our daughter here!

The culture is very nurturing and I observed the teachers covering for each other to look out for the children. Learning wise there are many sensory activities for toddlers and I understand that the higher level students have a rigorous Chinese syllabus complete with web/app based learning to supplement what is taught in school. The school also has an emphasis on STEM and there are many such booths / activities lying around which my 2 year old though young would explore and tinker with... Strongly recommend this school if you are looking for a school with small student cohort and focus on academics.
